Chances for UW, Shimer, Purdue, and American Please, Guaranteed Chance Back.

I'm looking for chances for the University of Washington, Shimer, Purdue, and American University. Thank you for your help, if you would like me to take a look at anything for you just shoot me a message! :)

GPA is now 3.0 unweighted. Taken 4 AP exams, 5 on AP Euro, 5 on US, 5 on Lit, 2 on Calc AB. UW Spanish 103 and 201 credits. 2210 on SAT first round, will be retaking. 740 on US Subject, 740 on Lit Subject, and 540 on Spanish Subject. Knowledge Bowl, Hi-Q Club, Debate Club, and Game Club President, two years as ASB Senator, 100+ hours community service, NMSQT commended student, Evergreen Girls State Supreme Court Judge, will likely also have recommendation from Washington State Supreme Court Judge. Played soccer and tennis for the school for three years. Washington DECA Area 1 President, Top 20 International Champion in Hotel and Lodging Management, attended two academic camps this summer and a leadership development camp. Looking to major in International Relations or International Law.

I’d give you very good odds for Shimer, but as you probably know, the process there is considerably more subjective than at larger schools, so it will mostly come down to how you present yourself in your essay and interview. (I think you would have a very good shot at [the BA/JD program](http://www.shimer.edu/academicprograms/ba-to-jd-program.cfm</a>) in particular, if that’s something you’re considering.)

Thanks, I definitely am considering that program! Would you like me to chance you for anything?

I kinda have the same question as OhRylie, except I’m considering transferring from a community college. I write a bangin’ essay and have some pretty solid recommendations, but my academic stats are impressively mediocre. My GPA is 2.5 and I haven’t taken the SAT or ACT. My lack of achievement isn’t due to laziness, I just have a hatred of busywork and lecture hall classes with 100+ people. I love everything about Shimer and I wish I had known about this place 2 years ago.
I’ve seen statistics that said 90% of applicants get in and I’ve seen stats that said only 30% get in. I guess I’m just a bit worried.
