SAT: 1460 (710 CR/W 750 Math)
Class Rank: Top 10%
SAT 2: Math II 710, Physics 700, USH 730

Extracurriculars: to protect his privacy, I’ll rank his ECs for you. They’re pretty good… 7/10

Notre dame- accepted
Cornell-waitlisted/denied
Duke-rejected

@waswaswasnt thanks! How come you said accepted for Notre Dame but not Vandy? Aren’t they about the same? What was the reason behind your choices?

Probably waitlist/reject at all.

Unless he has really incredible ECs (and I don’t think he probably does if you rate them 7/10) I think he’s going to have a hard time getting into to any of those schools.

@junior2017 @suzy100 why is that? what if he improved his SAT 40-50 points?

probably because of his unweighted GPA and SAT scores. Possibly if he improved his scores, but if he’s currently a senior, it won’t do much help.
