Vanderbilt-High Match
UNC-Match
NYU-Match
UF-Safety
Duke- Low Reach

That being said, you have all around great stats. If you don’t get into one/two of these schools it’s not because you aren’t qualified, it would be because you are applying to schools that are just so selective. Good luck!

Thanks for the chance man. UNC and NYU look like matches because of your act (idk how the hell your weighted gpa works lol, but unweighted looks pretty decent). Don’t know too much about UF of Vandy. Duke is boutta be crazy hard, so its a reach for every1. ACT looks good, but GPA might hurt you a little bit for that school. Don’t know your major at duke, so that might affect you a little as well, since engineering at duke has a hella high average ACT (34…dammmnnnnn). Good luck tho! Really like your judicial internship! (esp. if your tryna major in law )

It depends on what these schools are looking for. I’ve spoken with my cousin, who recently got into Princeton on what these top schools are looking for. He told me that the sense he got was that it varies year from year, meaning that if Duke wants science students they may not take you but if they are interested in social studies/pre-law students then you have a good chance.

Vanderbilt and Duke are hard to get into so Reach
I feel that UNC and NYU you have a good shot so Match
UF you should definitely get into

Hi there, and thanks for the chance!
UNC: High match (their OOS acceptance rate is quite low… around 14%)
Vandy: High match/low reach
Duke: Reach/low reach
UF: Safety
NYU: A solid match

Vanderbilt: reach
UNC: match (plus I hear this is an amazing public schools, best bang for your buck as some say)
NYU: match
UF: match
Duke: reach (I applied to Duke as well. It was a reach for me too, I think).

duke seems to be a low reach…but man, are your ECs so impressive…in some instances your ECs can outweigh some of the GPA deficits…but that would be entirely dependent on the school

Your unweighted is slightly low for Vanderbilt and Duke, but I think everything else is up to par and looks great.
Vanderbilt: Reach
Duke: Reach
NYU: Match
UNC: Low reach/high match (Acceptance rate is much lower at UNC for OOS applicants)
UF: Safety

I’m not in a position to be predicting for colleges but I’d say overall I like your resume. Good strong focus with EC and pretty solid in all other aspects. (12 classes a year is terrifying as I can barely handle 6) I can only comment that Duke would be probably a low reach but definitely a possibility!

UF is a safety, you’re definitely in. NYU and UNC are matches, I’d say 80% chance that you get into both. Your chance at Vandy is a little higher than Duke, but I think you’re a strong candidate for both. My guess is that you’ll get into 4/5 of these schools on a decent day, good luck mate :)

Vanderbilt and Duke are reaches, but certainly not impossible! UNC and NYU are perfect matches, and UF is a for sure safety!! Good luck with everything!

I would say you have a shot at all of these. Although Duke might be a bit of a reach I would think it would be valuable to atleast apply. Same goes for Vanderbilt. Both schools are very competitive but your good act scores might give you a chance. NYU is also competitive but you can likely get in. UNC you could also likely get in. UF shouldn’t be to hard to get in. Keep it up!

Duke is especially competitive this year. You have a better shot at Vandy than Duke. Also both of those schools expect applicants to do well in interview situations, and interviews don’t really help the application, despite how well they may go. Good luck! I hope you get into all of them!

GPA isn’t spectacular, but will probably do. Duke and Vanderbilt are reaches, but you can never tell with these things. I think your ECs revolving around law are great! And dunno if you’ve heard of this program, but in my city they have this youth law council that deals with juvenile cases. Good luck :)

Florida: Safety but a damn good safety school
UNC: High Chance
NYU: High Chance (A friend of mine got in with a resume that didn’t shine)
Duke: Reach but good chance
VANDY: Keep hitting EC’s over and over and tracking the length of time you are doing them and it should be a good reach like Duke
