Chances? Guy from small school/town.

Hello, I would appreciate your help, especially when given some of my special circumstances. Let's get to it:

4.0 GPA (unweighted) ~ 5.36 (weighted)

Ranked # 1

SAT: 650 Reading, 710 Math, 570 Writing (Taken only once; Sophomore Year)

6 AP courses, 6 dual-enrollment courses (18 hours), all honors courses

National Honor Society member

Leader of Church@Home Group

3 to 6 (avg.) hours per week of volunteer work

Basic High school awards (Honor Roll, etc.)

What I consider special circumstances:
- Small town in FL
- Class of around 180
- ISS (referral) on Freshman Year for cheating (Another student turned in my work as his own without my knowledge. I appealed, and the suspension - or ISS - was reduced to one day. "Unfair. I hate my school ever since.")
- Hispanic (Does that even make a difference?)
- English is my second language (Just as proficient as a Native Speaker)

Applying for "Computer Engineering" in these colleges:
- University of Florida
- University of Central Florida
- Florida State University
- University of Miami
- Georgia Tech

Please be honest, I want to know where I stand in regard to these schools. Thanks in advance.

in everything

why did you need to ask

why not throw in some reaches like hopkins, michigan or northwestern

To metalmoses:

Why did I ask? Because I am really worried that the unfair ISS suspension will come back and hunt me. I don’t know how much of a factor that is in the admission process.

Any help? Please.

i’m sure not likely as you are much better than these schools, plus if you send a letter explaining you situation should not be a problem

also i believe it shows on transcript that you got caught for cheating?
