Hi, I am an int'l applicant from Asia..

I know admission process is getting more and more unpredictable that it would be ridiculous to ask about my chances, but I need to be evaluated by people who do not know me personally and need to get advice from them, especially about those low CR scores..

my stats :

GPA 5.0 (private boarding school)
SAT CR 630 Math 800 WR 690 (12)
CR 630 Math 800 WR 790 (12)
SAT II USH 800 Math 800 Chem 800
APs Chem, Micro, Macro, English Language, Bio, Cal BC (all 5s) USH (4)
ECs working at my parent's underwear store, participated in business camp, guitar lessons,,
other pretty mundane activities..
Essays wrote about my father's underwear business and how I had changed my perspective
about him and his business, I tried my best to be humble and sincere, but not too emotional, tried to be a little bit humorous
Hook(?) Both of my parents only graduated from high schools, my sister went to a
vocational college in my country, have never lived outside of my country,
my dream is to be a film director

Personally, I think small liberal arts colleges like Grinnell are the right place for me because
I need to improve my English further (especially speaking..) and want to form myself as a liberal-minded, well-read, intelligent, and music-loving hippie. (I like rock bands from 60s and 70s like the Who, the Kinks, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors and so on..)

One thing I am quite worried about is my low CR scores..
I don't know why I so suck at solving a bunch of reading questions...
Since I have to apply for financial aid and I know that limited amount of financial aid is available for foreigners and it is extremely competitive, I want to know that my CR scores do matter in my chances of getting in with the financial aid so that I can take SAT again in January if possible..

Thanks for reading such crude English, by the way!

P.S.
I think there would be someone who would know me personally in this forum, but please,
don't let me recognize that you are the one!
It's embarrassing!!
