Alright, I know it's really early to be thinking about college....I don't really want to hear "oh you have 4 more years to go." I guess you can call me an early planner. I am in 9th grade.

Classes(all honors):
Computer Apps-97
Lit.-92
Bio-101
Algebra II-89
World Geo-98
Poly Sci-98
I am taking spanish 1-(92 avearage)
bc i chose public school over private school. I was taking hebrew(9 years worth of study)
EC:
Debate- Currently on the novice team but will be switching to JV after winterbreak. Furthermore, my team is quite small and I am the only 9th grader, so I am pretty sure I will be captain by 11th or 12th grade.
Future Business Leaders of America
Habitat for Humanity
Have designed two websites, both for non-profit's.(had a 2 page spread in the local newspaper for this)
Summer Activities:
I think these will be my strongest aspects when I do apply
Summer Intern for a Real Estate Law firm
Took 40 hours worth of graduate level classes at Emory Law School
Internship with a fulbright professor at Emory Law
Intern at legal aid society-roughly 300 hours
Next summer I've obtained an internship at the Securities Exchange Commision for half the summer and the other half is an internship at Atlanta's largest Law firm(over 500 attorneys)

Furter information: I haven't taken the SAT yet, but I did a summer program at Johns Hopkins where we took the SAT and I scored a 1750(this was in 7th grade).

hey those look like pretty impressive credentials already. One word of advice though is to find something u are truly passionate about and show that to whatever college ur applying to. U did Habitat for Humanity... so what? so did thousands of other high school kids. What are u passionate about? Find that out and with those high grades u shud have no prob getting into any college u want

I am definetly passionate about Debate and Law. I only chose FBLA and Habitat to have some more EC's

MY MAIN GOAL is unversity of michigan, I love the campus, pple, and the large school. Both parents went there, uncle ran the pathology department, both grandparents were professors(one was dean of english dept and other was dean of admissions), all cousins went there, one was professor at university of michigan law, one got jd and Masters in Public Health from there, another got a PHD and Masters for psych from there.

If i got into an Ivy, i'd probably choose the Ivy over Mich.
Other schools i'd be interested in are:
Uchicago, BostonU, WashU, NYU, Duke, Georgetown, UCLA, Brandeis, Boston College, Wisconsin, and George Washington. Mainly I want to go to a northeastern school, but I'd still go to UCLA, Berkley, etc. I know some of the schools I listed are pretty tough, any good fallbacks? The hs i go to now is IB, so i'll do the IB program for 11th and 12th grade. As you already saw, I am in pre-IB world geography and political science, along with all honors(except spanish, as u saw). Next year, I'll do all honors along with AP world history.

Any further things I should do?
Do those summer programs at harvard or columbia strengthen apps?
