Hi, I received my diploma this year and am currently on a gap year, so I’ll be applying with my final grades. I’m an international student and I got a 40. I have pretty decent ECs, but are they required?
More importantly, is there a chance I can get in with some sort of scholarship or is that a long shot?

With 40 (without TOK and EE) final IB score you can get into some of the best international schools… and in Canada into some of the most selective specializations at any of the top 5 schools. UBC seems to have a requirement in the low 30s. Google it!
You’ll definitely get in, I recently got admitted and I have a 35 prediction
