Chances? I'm dying to go here but not feeling confident at all =/

The thing is...I haven't visited campus. Yeah I know, lame, but from everything I have read - Washington & Lee is the perfect school for me. Love the region, size, heavy focus on Greek, "Southern" culture (dressing up for football games makes me weak in the knees!), strength in my desired area of study, architecture, everything...but enough about that.
However, I'm not feeling too confident about getting in here. At all. Should I bother applying and having my heart broken, or should I at least give it a shot?

Do you think there's any chance of being accepted? I know my SAT's are definitely below W&L's average, but do you think the rest of my resume makes up for it? Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

definitely apply and show interest. Admission has become difficult at Washington and Lee but I think the admissions process is personal and they have a dance program that I hear is very positive. I would suggest that you ask for the name of the dance program people and that you consider sending a sample of your dance work. Ask about their dance program via email, and how you might be able to contribute/participate..the fact that you are experienced with choreography is a possible contribution.
I would also write about your life experience with a steady job in high school on weekends...always a plus.
Try to love every school you apply to attend..but there is no reason you shouldn't go for it at W and L...I live in the region and know many grads but have no other connection. My Dad is a VMI grad.
you are more than your scores any where you apply. Also..it is NOT too late to do the ACT...nor is it too late to do your SAT again. I think your MA residency is a plus...Spend a Sunday on the Red book ACTs and take it.
