<p>Hi everyone!
I'm currently a junior (instate) here are my stats:</p>

<p>3.625 uw GPA
4.6875 Weighted GPA
33/370 rank
2140 SAT</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
-Volunteering:Soup Kitchen 10th, 11th Grade
Part of eVidyaloka- helps underprivileged kids in India, other small things most likely have 150+ hours by the end of this year. Also helped a lot at raising money for the community at my temple.
-Worked in a lab at UNCC in the summer of 2014, and going to be working again in 2015. Review paper is currently being published.
-I am a singer in Carnatic Vocal music (Biggest activity)
Sang in over 15 concerts nationwide,selected to be in international ensemble in Cleveland, won awards at the state as well as national level.
-Beta Club
-JSA
-Leadership:
Started CMYCM (Chamber Music of young Carnatic musicians)-brings young artists from around the country to showcase their talents, non-profit.
-Many other things related to music, and the temple.</p>

<p>Also I played tennis from 9-10th grade. Was on varsity freshman year, went to states. Won one tournament in 10th grade and got to quarters in another.</p>

You seem to have a solid chance of getting in! Your SAT is great and your GPA is alright. Your ECs seem decent as well, as long as your essays and recs are good you shouldn’t have a problem getting in!

Thanks @student9988‌ !, also is it a factor that many people are applying to chapel hill in my school? My class especially is very competitive.

I wondered the same thing, as many people at my school have UNC as their top choice! Most students will apply to UNC in-state, because it’s such a great value. This hinders your chances as much as any other student’s chances, so as long as you try to stay on top of everything you should be fine! Just keep up your GPA and ECs, your SAT is above their median so you should be great! @veejr98‌
