Applying From: Somewhere you have never heard of in a state that gives me an admission advantage hopefully

Your essays should be spectacular - they are very important in ILR admissions.

Do you think that with an amazing essay coupled with my good college GPA I might have a chance of acceptance? Come on people even if my chances are slim I really want some feedback.

BTW I know i do not have to submit my test scores.....if I am applying for sophomore status will I have to submit them to have a chance?

i don't think you have to submit test scores. but, even if you don't, your calculator running out of batteries is no excuse for getting a 21 on ACT math.

Well I admit that myself. My problem was that I got mad and basically panicked. As a result half of it was blank. Still thats no reason to insult me or to not be civil. I would expect anyone to have common courtesy regardless of how great my error was.

If you have already taken the ACT, then you HAVE to submit your scores. People who haven't taken the SAT/ACT and who have completed one or two years of college are the ones who are not required to submit scores.

That being said, if you wait and apply next year for junior status, your scores won't be taken into much consideration.

no intention to insult, but people need to stop keep on making excuses for what has happened. in the competitive world of education and beyond (one that cornell will offer) one can't keep making excuses--they'll hurt more than help.
