Hi, I was wondering if A&M would bother giving me any type of scholarship and my chances of getting into Electrical Engineering. I'm a white male if that means anything. Here's my stats:

SAT- 2000

Math- 680
CR- 660
Writing- 660

High School: Fairly competitive

Weighted GPA: 99.487
Class Rank: 20/515

National Merit Commended Student (202 on PSAT)
All Pre-AP and AP classes
5 AP classes
~50-70 hours of community service; various places
Marching and concert band freshman and sophomore years
NHS junior and senior years
Presidential Cabinet for NHS junior and senior years

I would say you’re definitely in for EE, not sure about scholarships though as I have no knowledge about them.

You need not worry about getting admitted to any departments as long as you get your application in soon and space does not fill up.

i’ve already submitted my application. anybody know when acceptance letters arrive? late sep early oct?

I sent mine in mid september and heard back early october. I would be stunned if you didn’t get into EE.

So I’m guessing your an automatic acceptance. You should probably hear back about two to three weeks after you submitted it. At least that was how it was for my friends last year.
