My dream school is really Princeton. I feel comfortable in my GPA, ECs, etc but not my SAT scores. My essays - not to sound conceited - were very unique and really interesting. I think they really set me apart from other people, because no one else can have the experiences that I have had.

Here are my stats..
SAT - 1900/2400
SAT II - Lit- 660, Hist-660, MathI- 610 (math is my freakin weakness, haha. i'm so much better with hist and lit related topics)
GPA - 4.2
Attend an "elite" school ... had to be accepted as an 8th grader
Recs - Teachers love me
Essays - I'd say awesome :p
AP- US Gov - going to take this yr, US Hist - 4, AP Lit - 5

ECs
A ton of community service hours
Was nominated by my school to serve on a county commission board (community service projects, etc..) - then the county chose me to serve on the commission
Intern for 2 yrs at a law office
Many law-related ECs

And here are my schools
Princeton
University of Maryland (College Park)
The College of New Jersey
George Washington University
Duke
New York University
Columbia

NOTE: I have been accepted to a few safeties! These are my "reach" schools.

Do you think I have any shot of getting into Princeton whatsoever or is it a lost cause completely? Thanks! I'll chance back :)

I would have to say no. Not because of the Sat's which are on the low side of Princeton, but because it doesn't look like you have anything spectacular to offer. But, a really good essay that actually stands you out, might make a difference.

sorry, but i don't know about Princeton.
your GPA is fine, but it's your SATs and "lackluster" ECs that do you in.

by lackluster i don't mean that they aren't good, because it seems like you show a lot of passion in law. it's just that there's nothing there that really sets you apart.

Princeton - probably rejected
University of Maryland (College Park) - in
The College of New Jersey - in
George Washington University - match
Duke - high reach
New York University - high reach
Columbia - probable rejection

What is your UW GPA? And I'm afraid that both your SATs and SAT IIs are a bit low for Princeton especially, so unless you've managed to sell yourself through your essays, I hate to tell you that you should probably expect a rejection. =/

Princeton - high reach/crapshoot
University of Maryland (College Park) - in
The College of New Jersey - in
George Washington University - match
Duke - reach
New York University - low reach/high match
Columbia - reach

Another easy school, I see. Your SATs are too low, unfortunately... I'd suggest taking them one more time if possible. Your GPA is fine, but I highly doubt that your school has a distinguished/high reputation.
