Chances of a BC Presidential Scholarship

Does anyone know a student who was or is currently a presidential scholar? I really can't tell if I have a shot.

SATs- 2270
SAT II- Biology 720, Math 750, US History 750
GPA: 96 or 4.0 unweighted

All honors classes, AP World History, AP Euro History, AP US History, AP Bio, AP Calculus, AP Literature, College Spanish. I am also taking a course on-campus at another university for Sign Language.

National Merit Semi-Finalist (we havent found out about finalists yet) National Honor Society, Art Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Artist of Excellence Award, NYS Scholar-Athlete Award, Renssalaer Medalist

I am captain of my school's spirit competition (the school is divided into two halves and every year two seniors are in charge of either team, I'm the captain of one of them) after participating for 4 years and being on my schools Leaders Club for 4 years. I am also on my schools crew team and was a state champion my freshman year. I am a yearbook contributor as well.

I am president of two different service clubs at my school after being an active member since freshmen year, on the youth board for a local soup kitchen where I volunteer, a co-founder and youth committee member of a very large charitable foundation in my area, have volunteered at a camp for special needs kids the past three summers and winters, and tutor ESL kids once a month after school.

The short answer: potentially. The PSP only LOOKS at the top 1-2% of all Early Action applicants, and only takes 15 students from that group. If they are interested in you, they’ll pay for you to come to campus and interview/evaluate you again. If BC’s applicant pool stays as competitive or gets even more competitive, which is likely, you’ll be up against kids with pretty amazing stats. I would say you’re in the upper region of applicants, but from there it is really difficult to tell.

In case you haven’t already checked out the site, probably a good resource, http://www.bc.edu/content/bc/centers/psp/aboutpsp.html
