Chances of admission to University of Wisconsin Madison

<p>Hey, I am a new user to CC and I wanted some feedback on what you all think my chances are of getting accepted to University of Wisconsin Madison college of chemical engineering. This has always been my dream school (since Monte Ball started began playing there) but my classmates do not think I will get in. Hear is some of my credentials.</p>

<p>Class Rank: 75/468
Unweighted GPA: 3.2
Weighted GPA: 4.26
ACT: 29
Superscore: 31; Math-34, English-29, Reading-31, Science-29, Writing-7</p>

<p>I am an Illinois resident. I have participated in volleyball all four years, I swam freshman year and I have been the treasurer of our school's Mathletes club for all four years and have gone to state for Mathletes twice. (Illinois State Mathletes competitions are not at all like it is depicted in Mean Girls) Also if it makes a difference at all, I am Mexican.
I would really appreciate it if anyone would reply to this, it would mean a lot to me. Thanks.</p>

<p>GPA is well below their admission standards, at least 3.5+ is needed. ACT is pretty good but OOS is competetive so I’d say its unlikely but worth the shot. They don’t look at weighted GPA as far as I know.</p>

<p>If you’re from Illinois and want to major in engineering, why not apply to UIUC and IIT?</p>
