Does anyone know the percentage of deferred applicants that are accepted? Thanks!
I don’t know the percentages. But I also got deferred last year (i’m a freshman right now). Chemical Engineering was my first choice and chemistry as my second. I had a 3.6 uw and a 4.6 w and a 30 on the ACT. I would say your unweighted GPA is a little low. My friend was in a similar situation last year and she contacted the admissions department and asked that her major be switched into undecided. She got accepted that way and then transferred into human bio this semester. That is an option you should go with if you really want to be accepted into State and it is your top choice.
