Chances of being rescinded from UCLA?

I’m currently a community college student who got accepted into UCLA for this fall. I have a 3.23, but what are my chances of being rescinded if I get two C in two 5-unit classes during my last semester? I calculated the resulting GPA, which would give me a 3.19. The classes would be Calculus II (I got a C in Calculus I so it’s obviously not my strong suit) and the second clas is part of Biology sequence (Bio 4B. I got a C in Bio 4A). I have all As aside from these two courses this semester.

What is your major? Are those courses major related?

@dungsi27 My major is Asian American Studies, so no, I wouldn’t say that they are related.

In which case I wouldnt be too worried, but those classes are still in progress right?so best thing to do now is to push hard and try to get a B instead that should solve all your problems

@dungsi27 Thank you, I’m just worried about the “worst case scenario.”

You need to check your admissions contract anyway.

You are very welcome I understand that feeling lol I got in a similar situation as you last semester, and it was worth since my course was major related, but I pushed hard and eventually grabbed an A (just barely) so that solved my problem entirely hehe

Again I dont believe your “worst case scenario” is the end of the world, but right now things are still totally in your control.Getting accepted to a school like UCLA is an incredible achievement nows the time to fight for it.I’ll root for you!

Will UCLA rescind my acceptance?
I was accepted for fall 2016 as a communications major with a 4.0
this semester I will recieve a C in a major prep course (Math 10 STATS)
i am expecting to recieve 2 A’s 1 B and 1 C.

Senior year
First semester: 4 A’s
