chances of Fordham/Vassar/Barnard

Hi, I'm new to this website.
I'm currently enrolled at a community college and I want to transfer to Fordham or Vassar or Barnard for the Spring 2012 semester.

I've been in college for three semesters (Fall 2010, Spring and Summer 2011).

My college GPA is 3.940. The classes that I've taken are:

PSYCH 103 (A-) Introductory Psychology
SOCIO 101 (A) Introductory Sociology
ART 120 (A) Drawing 1
ART 102 (A) Art History
ENGL 100 (A) Academic Writing 1
ENGL 101 (A) Academic Writing 2
ENGL 102 (A) Literature
ANTH 202 (A) Cultural Anthropology
HSTY 202 (A) American History Since 1877
MATH 109 (A-) Statistics

I'm currently taking Astronomy and Philosophy: Contemporary Moral Issues.
I'm taking Chemistry, Speech, Spanish, Abnormal Psychology and Statistics in the Fall 2011 semester.
I work part-time, have a lot of work experience and am a resident assistant at school. I'm also in the honor's society.

My high school transcript is a bit terrible-- mostly A's and B's but a few very low marks. I'm not sure what the over all average was. I only took one accelerated course (ACE) in high school for college credit. I didn't take any challenging courses at all in high school.

Please chance me?

Being that you have strong academic credentials, and do have work experience, I would say that you have a pretty good chance of getting in. Your credentials seem to fit–though I am not an expert on what they look for in transfer students in terms of academics. But, what is really going to make or break it is going to be how you highlight your assets in your essays. They really consider personal qualities through your essays, and really want to see a passion for Barnard. I would just say that your academics, GPA, etc. are all down pat–there’s nothing you can do to change them now. Just focus on making your application strong, having other people critique it, and perfect it! Good luck on getting in, it’s a great school!

What are your SAT scores?
