Chances of getting in NJIT ?

Your scores and gpa seem to be a match for this school. But honestly, because you really are on the low side, it could go either way. If you are local, you have a better shot. Good luck!

Thank you, I know that’s what’s stressing me, my sat is so bad =[ And yes I am local, how do you know that means i have a better shot ?

ok so first of all are you a sophomore, junior, or senior?
and second, based on your current stats i would say high match. although the acceptance rate for NJIT is 70%, your SAT and GPA are still a bit low. if you’re not in your senior year yet, you have some time to retake the SAT and bring your grades up! try taking an SAT prep class, which usually improves you about 300 points on the test. if you do this then you will have a pretty solid chance of getting in :)

@Paintbucketgreen um im in the middle of my senior year and i’ve filled out my application and been waiting 3 weeks for a decision lol… So u think i’ll be rejected ? =[

Match -> SAT is a bit low but it probably won’t affect you too much. You’re good(:

Are you serious??!? Thanks!! yeah i completely agree my sat is low, I wish it was as high as yours Lol.

NJIT: High match (now that you mention a failed CS course)

aww fawk =[ Can this really break me ? Im pretty positive i’ll get my decision next week most likely -.-

btw can u please answer the stuff i asked u on the private messaged please thanks.

YOu might as well try. University of Nebraska - Lincoln is a good alternative. Your stats are slightly low, though.

Bump decision day is coming REALLY soon #Nervous

Good luck to you! I would say you are a match for NJIT!

Lol thanks Driven, im feeling insecure though, because they haven’t responded and its been a month and a half and this is rolling admissions is that bad???

UPDATE: I got accepted to their college of science & liberal arts program, if I decide to do something else would I need to reapply, anyone know?

I don’t know how internal transfers work at NJIT but I don’t think that is out of the question. However, if you want to change colleges within NJIT, do so after you started attending NJIT.

alright thx girl <3
