I am currently a junior at a high school in Massachusetts. I have a GPA of 4.3 (3.7 on unweighted scale) and I did pretty bad on my last SAT (roughly 1700) so I'm definitely taking it again. I only took one AP this year, and I'm planning on taking 3 next year (maybe one more?). Our school recommends that students take no more than 3 APs a year and most top students take 2 or 3 a year. I don't have as many extracurriculars as I would like to and I really regret this: varsity soccer, used to do lacrosse, a few school clubs, some volunteering, and I'm doing a leadership program at Northwestern this summer. What are my chances at getting into some top tier schools (such as BC, Northwestern, Georgetown, Bowdoin)? What can I do to improve my chances? Should I replace my study period with another academic class? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Retake the SAT or try the ACT. 1700-1800 is a really low score for Northwestern, Georgetown, Bowdoin, and even BC. Aim for 2000+.
