CHances of getting in?

<p>ok, im trying to get into the film program because i have wanted to be a film maker since i was 6, heres my HS stuff, thus far:</p>

<p>GPA: 3.51 (im a hs junior...and ive been getting straight A's, so the math ive done, it should be a 3.8 by end of the year)
I have yet to take the SAT's</p>

<p>2 years on the varsity swim team</p>

<p>was in the high school fall play 2 years (one this year, and one next year), and 2 years being involved for the musical (student direcor this year, and hopefully next year)</p>

<p>2 years on the high school newspaper staff (this year staff writer next year, probably editor in chief b/c im the only one who works hard in that class)</p>

<p>2 summers of film camp- 1 at the New York City film academy and 1 at Penn State where my groups final film 'Lion's Den' was named "Best Film Overall".</p>

<p>Last year I took the only honors course our school offers (Honors English II) and was going to go on to Honors English III but they got rid of those programs for an AP Language class and an AP Literature class.</p>

<p>this year i did not take any honors courses (all academic courses)</p>

<p>But my senior year i will be taking AP Literature, AP US History and either AP Statisitcs or AP Compostion (or both) alongside being Editor in Chief of the newspaper and producer of our School's morning announcements </p>

<p>So my question is, what are my chances of getting in to USC?</p>

<p>O and also this summer (summer 08) i was accepted into the congressional leadership program for journalism where i will study at colubia university for ten days...Im not sure if i can afford it, but i was accepted</p>

its impossible to tell without your sat scores</p>

<p>ok, so i got my SATs back today (it took forever for them to come) and i got a 1710. is that good enough or should i retake them?</p>
