I have a 3.1 gpa, high school didn't rank, and 1430 on my sat. Im thinking about taking the act to see if I'll do better on that than the sat. I would like to major in biochemistry or biological sciences.

Is the GPA unweighted? Any extra curricular activities? Do you live in Arizona? A little more info

My gpa is unweighted and I live in Texas but also went to high school for two years in california. I was on the step team in ca for 1 year and am currently employed at a pet resort. Is it harder for an out of state student to get in?

It is usually harder out of state, but you should be able to get in.

Try to get you SAT scores around 1600 or act at 24, keep you GPA up, write a good essay & you should be good.

I had similar stats and I got in as an out of state student.

ASU has an acceptance rate of 90%, so you should get in with your stats

Should I even take the ACT to see how I’d do on that? Or just apply? Because I just graduated this year so there’s nothing i can do about my gpa.

ASU: Match
