hey guy’s so I applied for ASU before November 1st (VIP DATE) and I was wondering what my shots with ASU applications was.

3.44 academic GPA

22 ACT score (28 on science section, 18 on math section, 24 on english section, 19 on reading section)

Applied for Biochemistry, BS major

I’m an out of state student.

I am honestly worried I will not get accepted because of my ACT score and it worries me, any advice?

Is your GPA UW or weighted? If it’s weighted, how many honors/AP/IB classes have you taken? Overall, you seem to fall into their average ACT and GPA, but being OOS will hurt. I believe you will get accepted, but I’m not sure.

Did you follow the link posted by @celesteroberts in your other thread on this same topic? ASU has very clear guidelines on guaranteed admission and several alternate criteria based on class rank and grades that could make your ACT score completely irrelevant for admissions. You’ll get far better information there than repeatedly asking for chances.

You will get in. Im a student here and they literally accept people based off meeting the requirements. If you meet the requirements they accept you on the spot, if you don’t, they will do an individual review. Look at their website and see you if you meet the requirements for your major (which I’m pretty sure you do).
