Chances of getting into Cockrell School of Engineering

I live in Austin and I was wondering about my chances to get into UT. I have a 3.9 gpa and a 5.0/6.0 weighted gpa. However, I’m 100/481 in ranking because my school is very competitive. I’m worried because I heard you can’t get in without being in the top 10%, essentially. I looked on at my schools record of acceptance to UT and for the past two years it’s been about 86%. I have 30 composite ACT score and I’m taking AP physics C, AP Calculus, AP macroeconomics and Gov, AP Statistics, pre-AP computer science and have taken AP US and World History. I have been involved in athletics for and outside of the school during my freshman through my junior year. I have had two jobs, one of which was creating a lawn care service. I am also involved in a business club named DECA. I have already got into A&M and Auburn but was wondering my chances to get into UT. Thanks!

I’d say it’s not completely out of the picture. A higher ACT (32ish atleast) and better ranking would have helped a lot more probably.
