Chances of getting into CSUN or CSUF?

Just applied for Northridge and Fullerton and recently got a rejection email from CSULB, do anyone here think I have a chance of getting into CSUN or CSUF with a 3.3 weighted GPA and 1370 SAT score? I messed up my junior year in high school and got 2 Fails only for the first semesters of Pre-Calculus and Physics but everything else is fine. I took AP English Language, AP US History, AP English Literature, AP Government, and got A’s in all except I am extremely sure that I will get a B for APGOV. I live in Los Angeles but CSUN have excluded my high school out of the local area starting this year. I applied for Cinema and Television Arts major for CSUN which is impacted and Communications major for CSUF.

I have also applied for their EOP program but not sure if that will help.

I am extremely anxious and scared that I will get rejected to CSUN! Its my second choice!

I think you have a better chance at CSUN then at CSUF based on GPA and test scores. That said, I think CSUN will still be a tough admit due to you being outside the local service area and impaction. Have you met the minimum a-g course requirements due to the 2 failed classes? Did you retake these courses? Did you apply to any other schools besides these three? I wish you good luck and hope you have a backup plan.

I met all of my A-G requirements but I did not take the chance to retake Pre-Calculus because I passed the second semester. Physics isnt a required class so I switched out of it during second semester. Other than those schools, my back up choice is CSULA but Id rather go to community college than that school… Thanks for replying and hopefully I get into CSUN!!

does anyone know when CSUN will announce the Fall 2016 admissions?
