Just wondering what my chances are to get in Fordham for a Micro-medical Bio major. I'm a sophomore in high school right now so I don't what my final GPA will be probably 3.5 or 3.6 though. I do like 3 ec clubs and I'm not a leader in them, but I've had poetry published by outside sources, I'm an african immigrant, former war refugee and my family has gone through tremendous adversity to get to where I am this will be in my essay. I'm a good long jumper set a school record. I can get my best letters of recommendation from my AP World & Bio teachers and I run an online website that features original web cartoons (not yet but I'm close will be ready by summer). I don't have to apply until next year but I'm thinking ahead so just wondering what are my chances and if I don't get in what are some other good schools in New York City I could make. And what part of this should I improve.

Extremely good chance you’ll get in. That’s quite a remarkable story a bet? It’d be awesome if you wrote a book someday. Just do well on your SAT/ACT and you should be fine. And not to get off topic from the thread, but I was just in Senegal and their was a civil war going on in Guinea. I could only imagine what it was like as a refugee. Best of luck to you!

Thank you for the reply I’m actually Rwandan but I don’t know if I’m reassured I just read on the Fordham website that the cut off is 3.7. Should I be worried?

Bump Does anyone know if this means I can’t apply.
