What are my chances of getting into the honors program? I honestly am not excepting to, but believe there is a chance.

You need at least a 2100 SAT and to be in top 5% of your class. With close to stats I think you have a chance. However I think the 2100 is the cut off

I am also worried about honors. It’s very important to me. I slacked off freshman and sophomore year and the top of my class is very competitive, so I am only in the top 8% of my class with a 4.30 weighted GPA. I have a 34 Superscore ACT and I wrote my admissions essay about why my freshman and sophomore years were so mediocre and why that’s changed. I have 12 AP courses and if I get all the scores I need this year, I’ll be going in with 41 credits. I’ve been on the cross country and track team all four years, and started swimming this year. No other extracirriculars besides beta club, NHS, and things like that. Anyone have any guesses?

Your ACT 34 is somewhere estimated of SAT 2250. So if the cut off is 2100, then you should be ok. Good luck and happy new year.

@Heibbi7383h i believe even with a 34 ACT you still need to be in the top 5% of your class. Yet your higher than norm score may put you in the running. Good luck.
