I'm worried about how getting a C in math my junior year will play into my changes of getting in......I've played a different sport almost every year which i know shows inconsistancy but im not very athletic and my school requires that you play a sport each year to graduate....I don't have the strongest grade in comparison to the thousands of others who will apply but i'm hoping NYU will notice that ive shown strength in what I am interested in which is journalism because ive been editor of my high school paper for three years straight and am now press editor of Youth Legislature (for those of you who don't know what it is, it is a very big deal for most private schools in North Carolina)...I am pretty decent at writing so i'm confident in that my essays will good, hopefully anyway

I live in North Carolina, I cannot in any way be considered a minority (I am a female, white, christian) and have no legacies or anything pertaining to NYU or any of the other schools

So what do ya'll think my chances are.....?
