I am a senior in high school and Pomona is my absolute #1. Taken the ACT 3 times (28 highest composite and 30 superscore) my unweighted GPA is a 3.8 and my weighted is 4.6. I take all honors, total of 4 AP classes during high school and one IB class. I am a dedicated athlete so my extra curriculars are low, but I am a member of my school’s National Honor Society. I know it may be a reach, but does anyone feel I have a chance at Pomona?? Any tips to help me with my application??
On the surface you should not have much a chance, as your ACT is really low! However, with schools like Pomona you never know! They look for the best “fit” whatever that means! I have read about kids with very steller academics rejected and kids admitted with bad academics! Go for interview, I think that plays a big role!
