I was wondering if I have a good chance of getting into Rice University:
I have a GPA of 4.4 and am valedictorian of my public high school (class of approximately 455)
After graduation, I will have completed 10 AP courses and mainly accelerated classes...having received all A's (hopefully the trend continues)
Extracurriculars include: Zumba instructor at dance studio and gym, founder of Zumba club at school, organized Zumbathon to benefit American Cancer Society in partnership with Relay for Life, president of French club, member of National Honor Society, lector at my church twice a month, board member of my city's Park and Recreation Commission, member of Fencing Club (since freshman year), volunteer at Operation Give Back (tutoring facility for low-income children), volunteer at Parky's Farm with Special Needs Rider Program and interactive farm animal area, babysitting...
I speak French and English fluently and am currently learning Spanish - will be in AP next year.
SAT scores somewhat lower...I'm not the best test taker...2120 for Reading, Writing, and Math. 1400 for just reading and math. Haven't taken ACT. PSAT score of 216.

I absolutely love Rice! Do you think I have a good chance of getting in? I also would appreciate any suggestions as to other schools that may be similar to Rice?
