Chances of getting into Rutgers New Brunswick?

I'm currently a freshman at St. Thomas Aquinas College in NY. I live in NJ and went to high school there (Bergen County). I commute to school so it's really boring and I dont have much of a social life. A lot of my friends go to Rutgers and I want to try and transfer there. My high school grades were kind of mediocre, I had about a 2.8 GPA. My SATs were ok, I had a 450 in Critical Reading, a 480 in Math, and a 500 in Writing. My ACTs were also ok, I had a 19. In college, I've really been working my ass off and I have about a 4.0 GPA (or high 3, I dont really know how college GPA works). I'm a communication arts major, but I'm changing it to computer science. Here's the classes I'm taking

Fall 2007 Semester:
English I
Italian I
Intro To Computer Technology I
Intro To Mass Media
Modern Europe I

Spring 2008 Semester (Projected):
English II
Italian II
College Algebra
Computer & Info Science I
Visual Basic Computer Programming

I'm gonna apply around mid to late December, right when the final semester grades come out. I know my chances might be slim, but what do you guys think my chances are?

bumping this

Working your ass off in college will totally get you in...I bet. I don't know too much about transfer admissions, but with the renewed effort (Hell, it's really impressive, by the way), you should be able to do it.
