I'm a sophomore at a Texas high school and I really want to go to A&M (Start off in nutrition and switch into nursing school). The only thing is I blew off Freshman year and the beginning of my Sophomore year. As of now, I have a 3.1 gpa and am in the top 50% of my class. I also took the psat at the beginning of this year and scored very high. If I work my butt off the rest of my Sophomore, Junior and beginning of my Senior year what will my chances be to get in? And do you have any tips to get my gpa and class rank up quickly?
*I used to be a huge penn state fan until the whole scandal happened and after that I kinda gave up on school. I visited Texas A&M last summer and toured the Labor and Delivery unit of a local hospital recently and both completely changed my outlook on grades and college!

If you work yourself off during sophomore, junior and senior year, to bring up your GPA to a 3.5+ and that your PSAT hopes materializes on the actual SAT, then you have a good shot to become an Aggie.
