Chances of getting into these schools:

Hi here are some of the schools and majors that I am planning to apply to:

Penn State University- University Park Business
University of Washington-Seattle Undeclared
Western Washington University Business
Indiana University-Bloomington Undeclared
Purdue University Civil Engineering
Michigan State University Business
University of Michigan- Ann Arbor Business
University of Illinois- Urbana Champaign Business
University of Wisconsin-Madison Undeclared

University of California
Berkeley Computer Science
Los Angeles Economics
Irvine Business-Undeclared
Davis Civil Engineering-Business
Santa Barbara Business-Biology

I am an Out of State Student and upcoming Senior that has actively been involved with my school; here are some of my ECs: National Honor Society, Treasurer of Earth Corps, Key Club, Mock Trial. I also have 200+ community service hours.

My Unweighted GPA is a 4.0
My Weighted GPA is about a 4.29

My SAT and ACT scores are below standards plus I'm Asian :( (I'm just a natural bad test taker)

SAT:1560 M+CR+W
1080 M+CR

ACT: 23 Composite

Thanks!

Will your parents pay the high costs at all those OOS publics? If not, then none will work.

You have to be equally concerned about Payment, as well as Acceptance, unless your parents will pay $60k+ for any school.

If I were you, I wouldn’t even bother applying to Berkeley, LA, Michigan, or Wisconsin as an OOS student

Thanks guys, ya I know that OOS tuition costs a lot but in terms of GPA and test scores, what are my chances?

I wasn’t talking about the money lol. I wouldn’t apply because those are really high reaches for you.

Would the mid tier schools such as UC Davis and Irvine be okay reaches?
