Chances of getting into UCLA?

Well my friend just showed me this site so this is my first thread here. anyways, I'm a senior in HS now so pretty soon I'll be turning in college apps, and one of my top choices is UCLA. Just wondering what kind of chance I'll have in getting in.

taking 5 APs (Civics/Econ, Chem, Lit, Environmental Science)
past AP scores: 5 Bio, 4 Lang, 3 Euro, 2 US
GPA 3.83 (unweighted)
1940 SAT
700 Bio
610 US
4 years band

One drawback is that I'm only taking Pre-calc as a senior because when I moved to this area in 7th grade they just put me in the lowest math possible and my Alg I teacher didn't pass me because I had a C+ one semester, but I still excel in my math classes, usually being in the top 3.

That's pretty much all the info I can think of. I plan on joining CSF and school site council this year, but other than that I don't think there's anything else. And I need some advice whether or not I should take the SAT again because 1940 might not be enough, and if I should take the ACT. Also, just wondering if what HS you attend makes a difference, because right now I'm attending Gahr HS which is something like number one (or high up there) diverse school in the nation.

Edit: not oos either
Edit2: Oh, and I also plan on being a chem eng. major, so just wondering how good their program is compared to other schools

heyyy gahr high? i go to brea... which is pretty close. Anyways, you'd have to calculate your UC gpa, weight 8 semesters out of your 10-11th grades. The avg UCLA UC Gpa was about 4.15, so if its around there, I think your in okay shape. The avg sat score was 2030 or so... so your chances of getting aren't too bad...

low reach

ok, how about other UC's

also, what schools are good for chem eng majors? I heard UCI was good but thats pretty much it

bump =(

if you live in california then i'd say 30% chance.

ouch... dammit

30% is actually not bad for UCLA.

UCSD - match
UCB - low reach
UCI - low match
UCD - low match
UCSB - low match
UCR/M/SC - safety

UCSD has a really strong bio-engineering program

is UCI > UCLA in terms of chem eng, cause I never really heard anything about UCLA's program, and what in your guys opinion is the "best" school for chem eng?
