Chances of getting into University of Southern California?

Sorry, I’m going to be really honest:
You’ve picked some of the most expensive schools around. Plus your stats are not within the caliber of USC which likes to woo National Merit Finalists and winners.

How will you pay?

NYU is lousy with financial aid and at $72K per year, you are going to need help.
The UC’s are $55K per year and there are no scholarships for OOS students. You will not be able to gain instate residency coming with an OOS high school transcript.
USC is around $68K, and, they front load a lot of their aid packages with “assumed” loans. http://www.usc.edu/admission/fa/undergraduates/admitted/how-much-will-my-education-cost.html

Plus, you do realize that an MSW makes really low pay? Lots of work for not a lot of pay. Plus, jobs are hard to come by. http://www.bls.gov/ooh/community-and-social-service/social-workers.htm

For those schools’ exorbitant costs, you should really go with an instate school if you plan on going to grad school.
