Chances of Getting into UT School of Law

So the other night I was sitting in my dorm room looking at the median GPA's and LSAT scores for students admitted into the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. So I decided to start calculating my GPA and what my chances were. However, after getting stressed out about the fact my GPA dropped because I did poorly in my stats class I realized that I still had a chance to bring up the GPA before I could even apply to Law School.

I actually have 3 questions:

1) Is the first semester of my freshman year (still in progress) too early to see how high my chances of getting into UT are?

2) (Preferably from those with experience) Is it possible that a freshman in Honors can bring up a 3.4 GPA to a satisfactory level so that with a high LSAT score (168-172) he can get into Law School like UT Law or an equivalent school?

3) Does the fact that I'm double majoring in Honors count for much when looking at my GPA?

Thanks for anyone who answers.

Yes, yes, no.
