Western Michigan is in the second tier of Michigan schools behind MSU and UofM.
I really messed up my freshman and just a little better sophomore year. All due to lack of effort... i had a 2.5 by the end of sophomore year. After the first semester of High School my GPA is now 2.7. I am hoping to get it to a 2.9 by the end of the year and take summer school to retake 2 horrible classes. I am a straight A student but a little late. So i guess i have 2 questions.

Practice ACTs getting 25 and up
I have an upward trend

1) If I get my GPA to a 2.9, can retake 2 classes early summer to bump it up to at least a 3.0 before submitting college applications?

2) Chances?
2.9 GPA
25 ACT (Around)
4 Clubs
Had to stop playing lacrosse due to concussion problems

3) Will colleges look at me a lot different from a 2.9 to a 3.0?

FIRST POST EVER SO FORGIVE ME IF I DID ANYTHING WRONG :)

I tried these college chances websites and they range from 30% to 70% so i don't know
