I’m applying to Syracuse University’s school of management, what are my chances for getting merit aid?
My weighted average is a 91.5

Also if I do get merit aid, how much do you think i’ll get?

oh I forgot to mention my high school is very competitive, ranking top 10 public high schools in the US out of about 14,800 high schools

zero, unless you consider most merit aid is just a tuition discount. expensive midgrade colleges realize nobody in their right mind would pay list price to attend, so they make it sound like merit. except, of course, if you’re a scion of a corrupt foreign national, then they always pay list price

@choleas‌ well considering my sat score is probably in the top 10-15% and my gpa isnt too bad im sure i should at least get some money

Your CR score is around top 25-30%, your Math score is probably around top 10%, and your GPA is about at the university average. Merit is awarded to about the top 10% of applicants, so your other stuff would have to be pretty stellar to have a chance. Syracuse is notably stingy on merit, they don’t give many and the awards are $6,000-12,000/yr ($12K max). I would say your chances are fair.
