Chances of getting rescinded?

This thread is mainly for my own peace of mind.

Ok, so despite senioritis (like, all B's in my mid year report) I was accepted into Cornell's Engineering school (I had a pretty good record before this.) Second semester I've dropped even further. My final report will look something like this:

AP Bio- 83
AP Gov- 89
AP Chem- 78
AP Calc- 82
AP English- 78
AP Spanish- 89

I'm worried about recission, or some other academic consequence, especially for the two Cs. From the experiences/knowledge of people who frequent this board, how likely are such consequences?

btw, for the sake of empirical data available to future readers, i'll come back and say if I was rescinded or not.

lol are you kidding me… I’ve much lower grades than that and I’m not worried. Chill man. Relax. Enjoy your summer!

TJDetweiler, Cornell accepted you because they want you there. And they already know you have made many preparations for Cornell. They know how dreadful it would be for someone if they were rescinded. You are not the first kid to slack off and get C’s you wont be the last and you’re certainly not the worst. People who screw up big time get rescinded not people who are worried about their 2 c’s

For future reference, I did not get rescinded.

excellent, and thanks for letting us know! I hope your first days of classes have gone well.
