I’m so happy I got my acceptance letter to transfer to my dream university SMU. Although since all transfer contingent I’m very scared that I may be revoked. I have a 3.5 so far but transferring to them it’s 3.33 but this semester I may be finishing with an A in one class, B or C in another (I’m hanging at a C+), then my pre-calc class I may finish with a C or D(hanging at a 69). I’m fighting for that C doing whatever I can. I started this semester taking 4 classes but one was not applicable towards my degree and took too much time away from the other classes half of the semester I dropped that class and now I’m focusing on my other important classes. Could this really hurt me? I plan on retaking my Lee-calc class like my college algebra to raise it to an A and bump my gpa ahah .Either circumstances I’d finish within the 3.0 ranges still. I’ve emailed my admission counselor but tomorrow I’ll call them.
Fight for a C. Tell your teacher that it SMU may rescind your admittance. Ask if you can do any extra credit, test corrections, etc. You will be okay. Your GPA is fine! I HIGHLY doubt they would rescind your offer.
