Hi, I have a 3.65 cumulative unweighted gpa, with 5 AP classes. I got a 2140 on my SAT, and I am in Club MED, KEY club, LEO club, GEO club, National Honors society, National English Honors Society, on the Varsity Boys Tennis Team, and have 324 community service hours. The majority of my hours have been done at a hospital, where I created patient charts and filed them, also I shadowed a doctor there. I am a National Merit Commended student, and my dad went to University of Michigan. I'm applying early action. I was wondering what my chances of getting in were...any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Also, should I take any SAT 2s? Or would I be able to get in without them? Thanks!

You’re pretty well set and have experience no one else your age has (shadowing a doctor and the chart stuff). Don’t worry and apply, your scores are very high and you seem like a good.candidate for both schools unless you have a weird dark.side to you. Like If you were arrested and/or have issues with the law, then you’d be out for Ann arbor, I’m not sure about the other one.

@Catria: I am planning on pursuing a medical career, so yes i will be doing pre med. What do you mean they will no longer be reaches? as in I’m definitely not getting in, or I have a good chance? @Batman: haha, no I have never been arrested or have a dark side! Thanks for your input!

I mean, shadowing a doctor and filing patient reports as ECs is a good way to demonstarte interest. So I’d say that you have a better chance now.
