I took Honors English both freshman and sophomore year. I'm taking AP English, IB History of the Americas (For those that don't know that IB is it's like AP but worldwide known), and Child Psychology which is college level. I'm only a junior so I don't have my SAT scores yet or my list of classes I will take as a senior. My gpa overall thus far is probably a 3.7-3.9.

My clubs are:
Future Educators of America, Interact, Girl Scouts, Newspaper, & Students Against Destructive Decisions.

What do you think my chances are of getting in?

Also.. do you think if my average in one or two of the college courses is in the 80's.. my chances will become significantly slimmer to getting in?

you’re definitely in. why not try one of the public schools on the island? i dont think molloy or hofstra are worth your money.

Like what schools? The only public school I believe that has my major is SUNY Old Westbury.

what’s your major supposed to be? education? stony brook and old westbury both have programs.

Special Ed. to be specific. I know old westbury has education but so does stony brook? I never heard of that.

yeah they have some education programs, check on their website

For undergrad? I don’t think so.

[Stony Brook University Majors and Minors](Stony Brook University, New York | Majors, Minors and Programs)

they say secondary teacher education next to the majors that you can get certified in.

Oh okay but i would like to go to a school better known for their education programs.

neither molloy nor hofstra are particularly “known” for it, so i think it’s a waste of money. but suit yourself, good luck

oh i know, it would only be if they gave me a ****load of money. otherwise, i think i’m stuck at SUNY Old Westbury’s Honors College.
