Hello, I have just been accepted into many nursing programs, not ivy league, but they are all pretty competitive. I am doing pretty well in all of my classes (A in AP psych, B+ in AP Lit, B+ in AP Chemistry, B in Medical Technolagy, A in electives) However, I am in AP Calculus BC and am expecting a C as a midyear grade. I have not gotten seniortitis by any means, I have just been struggling with this class significantly. I am worried that I may get my acceptances taken away from schools from my poor preformance in this class. Will my acceptances to schools get taken away because of this class. I am SO worried, I have always done so well in math up to this point.
There are a lot of posts like this but no, I don’t think it will affect you. A C in AP Calc. BC isn’t so bad as to warrant being rejected.
^ What they said. And also any grade in an AP is usually weighted heavier so it’s not as low as a C in a lower level math class would be. I think you’re fine.
As long as you’re not failing, I don’t think colleges will give you a problem. You can mention it to your GC if you’re really worried, though. And do your best to get your grade up by the end of the year.
No Ds, no Fs, no felonies.
