<p>Ok, NYU is my dream college and I just wanna get in so badly. I have no idea what they're looking for...I need advice, please.</p>

Ethnicity: Indian
Gender: Female
Class Rank: 1 / 187
GPA: 4.97 (weighted)
SAT: 2030 (although I retook it a few days ago to see if I could do better)
SAT II: 770 Math II, 740 Bio, 700 French</p>

<p>I'm in Chorus, Chamber Choir, Video Yearbook (Co-Editor), School Newspaper (Op-Ed Editor), Mathletes, Tri-M, Knowledge Masters, National Honor Society, and Science Research.
I have won awards such as AP Scholar with Honor, National Merit Commended Scholar, Xerox Award for Innovation and Information Technology, Long Island Science Congress Senior Division High Honors Award, High Honor Roll, National French Contest 1st place county-wide since 7th grade (2nd place last year) and always placing nationally...</p>

<p>I don't have any work experience, and my only volunteer experience is singing with Tri-M chorus members at various nursing homes and other places in the community.</p>

<p>you’re in great shape.
SAT scores are within decent range, GPA is great, and you have really good II’s. EC’s are nice as well. Class rank is obviously fantastic.
Write good short answers, and I can’t see you getting rejected.</p>

<p>you will have a really good shot if your SATs increase a little, but even if they don’t you should be good</p>
