I was accepted to the Brain and Behavioral Sciences major during early action, and I took AP Calculus AB 1st semester. I finished with a C- and I decided to drop the class for psychology because I was already ahead of my credit requirements for math. Note that I made this decision before I considered Purdue as one of my top options (I thought I was set on the University of Portland and it was fine with my Portland counselor so I went through with it). I know that psychology is more related to my major than calculus, but what are my chances of this causing a rescind? I wouldn’t be surprised if I got a warning email from Purdue asking me to explain, but I’m hoping the email and voicemail about my course changes that I left for my counselor may clear that up. The student representative in the admissions office at the time when I called said it was fine, but my counselor has not responded yet.
