Hello,

I am currently in my second to last semester before fining my associate's degree at a community college. I'm interested in applying to W&M, but I have a few questions: First, I am a business administration major currently, and during my research of W&M I have read one must be admitted into the college before applying to the Mason School of Business. Therefore, as a transfer what are the chances getting if I were accepted to W&M? If not, would there still be classes I could take within W&M? Even though I have completed an AA and a majority of Gen Ed classes have been fulfilled? Second, I have read W&M is selective in regards to admitting out-of-state students, does that hurt my chances for admission being out of the state of Virginia? Third, during my formative education I was homeschooled would that be a deterrent to the admission committee? Fourth, does it make a difference having completed an AA vs. transferring from a 4 year college/university?

Also I am interested in law school after competing my Bachelor's (if that matters). Other college's and universities I am applying to are: American University (Washington, D.C.), Georgetown University (Washington, D.C.), Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD), University of Mary Washington (Fredericksburg, VA), Flagler College (St. Augustine, FL), and possibly Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, VA).

-College GPA: 3.75
-HS GPA: 3.89
-SAT: I can't remember
-I've been on the Dean's List, my first I didn't have enough credits but every proceeding semester.
-I've been published for my photography in my college's literary magazine, since I began college.
-I work for my college as a student blogger - since it began.
-I have done a few Service Learning Projects.

Thank you in advance for the feedback!
