Chances of Transfer Admission to UMD, a LEP, and Honors College?

Hi! I am a freshman who is about to enter into his second semester at community college. I know that I should be asking this question sometime next spring, but UMD has been my dream college for a long time, and I would just like to see if others feel that I am on the right track. Without further ado, here are my stats:

PA Resident
Race: Black
Gender: Male

GPA: 3.86

Intended Major:
-Biochemistry
-Possible Astronomy/Astrophysics minor (I'm not entirely sure yet)

EC's
-Member of the Science Club
-Treasurer of the Engineering Club
-Secretary of the Math Club

Hooks:
-Possible first generation student (Mom and dad don't have bachelor's degrees)
-Single parent household (I don't know if this is an actual hook or not, but I just decided to throw that out there)

Honors/Awards:
-Made the Dean's List for my first semester.
-With my GPA, I will soon be a Phi Theta Kappa member. PTK is the honors society for community college students.
-I was one of the only students to be accepted into a non-credit Leadership Class. I will have the opportunity to meet business leaders from across the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania.

Work Experience:
-I will be interning at Keystone First in Philadelphia this summer

Could you see me being admitted into UMD alone with these stats if I continue with my academic success? What about biochemistry, which is a LEP? How about UMD's honors college/program? Thank you in advance!

The honors program is really for Freshmen/Sophomore. It doesn’t mean much, there are however department honors programs that will be have their own requirements.

UMD admission isn’t all that competitive, especially transfers. Just keep the GPA high and you’ll be more than fine. You can look up LEP requirements as well. For biochemistry it’s something like a C- average in classes like Calc 1 and 2 and basic chemistry and bio classes.
