Ok sorry..I attend Berkeley right now actually (class of 2008)..

I was accepted to all of the UCs and got the Regents' Scholarship to three of them--so think i might be able to help u out (at the risk of sounding arrogant)

I have to ask--what is the new SAT about-- what exactly is 1850 out of 2400???/I mean percentile-wise???

UCLA and UCB will be a reach for you. Everywhere else you will have no problem...just make sure to write good essays! If you want LA or CAL, bump that SAT I score to atleast 2000

whoa whoa whoa whoa...just because of his SAT's its a reach? yea...me think so too. GPA (assuming UC GPA) is awesome. SAtII :awesome. extra curricular...eagle scout tells all as well as his 200 hour community service. but SAt..if you do get over 2000, you should be a match.

Your GPA I could somewhat understand. I have a friend who has the same gpa as you, but lower ranking just because the guys that go there are just too smart. UCB is somewhat a little weird this year with acceptances. I know a person who was accepted that had ~1280 and a 3.8 gpa with regular classes. He didn't have much or if not any that I know of EC's. Based on my experience UCLA and UCSD tend to accept people with stats like yours.
