Chances on getting financial aid?

I don't mean to brag or anything, but what are the chances of getting financial aid if your family gets about 110000 yearly? My family will have two kids at UT next year if that helps.

Im just curious because my dad said filling out FASFA would be a waste of time because he thinks we won't get any money. However, i filled it out anyways incase we might get lucky :)

There is a financial aid calculator in their website. You can check that.

you should always fill out the FAFSA no matter how inventory family’s yearly income is. I’m in a similar situation. Even if you don’t receive any need-based aid, they still may give you certain opportunities for loans or even a small grant. The university may also use your FAFSA to offer you work study, which is really helpful. Its the university’s way of determining a lot of things.

*no matter how much your family’s yearly income is

sorry, auto correct haha

Sounds great! Thanks fruitloops22! Do you know when we start getting notified for aid?

no problem!

I’m not sure! There may be more detailed info about that on UT’s website under the financial aid section. UT’s website overall is extremely resourceful and covers almost every aspect of anything you need to know :)
