College list (I am applying to all 10):
Columbia University - Columbia College (applied ED)
Princeton University (had an app. gathering dust, heh)
Duke University
University of Virginia
Georgetown University
George Washington University
Johns Hopkins University
University of Maryland
American University
George Mason University

Princeton and Columbia are slight reach, always unpredictablem, all the other universities you have listed i think you have a solid chance to be accepted =) gl!

Lack of ECs hurts you but you have very good stats everywhere else

Are you kidding me! You might have the grades and test scores but you definitely don't have a good chance of acceptance. Mainly because you have no ECs. Are you a senior? Even so you should get busy RIGHT AWAY!! Join Model UN. Check out a hospital......spend all your free time there. Or look into tutoring some of your friends (hint hint). You could put that you haven't done much because you were trying to lose weight. (i hear that works) I'm not saying this will solve the problem completely, but it will help to provide colleges with some reason as to why it seems like you've been doing nothing but studying for 4 yrs.

looks good. where are ur ECs?

as you already know, everything looks tremendous except for your ecs, I would most definitely get involved now, maybe Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, etc. These are well-known and respected organizations that would probably only require a few hours on the weekend but would give you something that universities would recognize. As for your college list, I would consider applying to a school that may be ranked high in your area of interest, but not necessarily hard to get in to. In other words, I think you might need a safety. You probably have a chance at the schools you mentioned, but your lack of ec's really hurts, and, although your stats are definitely above average, many of the other students applying to these schools have amazing stats as well to go along with outstanding ec's. Good luck!!!

Two of these - American and GMU - can be safely considered safeties...particularly the latter. I realize, of course, that my lack of ECs is a bit suspicious, although I hope I somewhat make up for the fact with my fluency in Russian and English (I've lived in the US for only four years). I don't think that feverishly stocking up on ECs now is going to do any good - that would probably seem like a classic case of resume padding, plus I realistically do not have time to do so (whereas in my first three years I simply didn't give a damn).
