Chances Please Help//Extremely Nervous

Hey Everyone,
I have posted about my chances a few times and have never gotten any real response so I am hoping for one now, I would really appreciate it. I am a freshman in NYU GSP. I am trying to transfer to the following schools. Those I applied to first year the admissions decision was noted.

Georgetown University- Waitlisted, Extended Waitlisted
Boston College- Wait Listed
Boston University- Accepted, Scholarship
George Washington University- Never applied
Umass Amherst, Honors program- never applied

High School Stats:

-90.3 Unweighted, 100.00 weighted GPA
-5 APS
-SAT 640 Math, 640 Verbal
- 8 Political Internships, one of which was the Democratic National Convention when I was 13
-Student Body VP, NHS, Spanish NHS, school newspaper, tutoring, Model UN, etc etc.

College Record:
-3.4 GPA (the result of 2 As, a B+ and a C+)
-20 Hour/week America reads Tutor
-College Democrats Member

I am also obtaining a letter of recommendation from the head of the private, catholic, all boys school I attended.

I applied to all of these schools on March 1st and am awaiting results.

Thank You So much you have no idea how much input is appreciated!

You must be very young for your grade if you worked the DNC @13. I'm a Junior and worked it at 16.

i'm guessing you're going to be a poli sci major? did you notice that poli sci at nyu is all about game theory? I feel that's why a lot of nyu politics majors leave.

i assume you are getting recs from your college professors too.

Overall, I think you have a good chance at bu and umass...maybe GWU.

But only a 3.4 after one semester will not help georgetown and BC reconsider you. It doesn't show you have made drastic academic improvement since high school.

I would wait until your junior year, get your gpa up, get to know the GSP professors, and give gtown and bc a reason to forget they waitlisted you in high school.
